I rarely carry my camera out in the field, but had one handy and brought it along for this one.. I wish it was something real good, but it will at least show the newcomers how the mission is accomplished. A fella called saying his chickens had been eaten by a local pest, I visited the area and saw it was more than likely a possom.. I brought out Buddy and I will walk you through the rest...

The Locate
Buddy hunts close and checks the imidiate area and to be honest it didn't take an ace to find this possom, follow the tracks and a well used hole and you had it.. He shows interest and.... |
It looks promising...
He goes a little deeper in the hole to check and sure enough it is obvious their is someone home. Buddy is audible and I could tell by his lack of excitement it wasn't a raccoon. |

Move a little dirt...
I tied him back and cut some roots and moved some dirt, this was a very small dig, but not uncommon for this area especially on possoms. I find many in rotten tree falls, or old creek drifts. |
He Ain't Grinnin Now...
This is obvious, Buddy with his prize.. The possom was loaded up and taken off (released on my place).. I didn't capture it, but when Buddy yanks him out, the possom had a great hold on ol' Buddy as well... |
